Kayla has been working in the events industry in Toronto since 2011. Kayla started her career working in the corporate sector of events, and later expanding into the catering avenue, working for renowned hospitality leaders Oliver & Bonacini. Her love and passion for weddings later were discovered when she attended and graduated from George Brown College, excelling in the events inddustry which ultimately has lead her to become co-founder of Be Our Guest Events.
Kayla’s love for events lays within the core of the behind the scenes action, and her commitment to building personal and lasting relationships with her clients. Her superpower is the ability to handle any situation with grace and calmness, and ensuring her clients always feel comfortable and relaxed. When Kayla is not planning beautifully curated events, she loves to spend quality time and with her husband Joe, and three beautiful daughters Aurora Rose, Ariella Grace and Allegra Noelle.

Favourite Restaurant To Date..
If I'm staying local, I don't think I have a must-do favourite. It goes more off of what I'm craving, but I'm currently loving Chiang Mai on Park Lawn. Fun atmosphere, delicious food and the drinks are always creative. If I'm opening up all of the possibilities, I would happily have a meal at Sunset Monalisa at any point.
Favourite Pizza Toppings..
Spicy soppressata, some fresh cheese and olives.
Favourite TV Show..
Survivor. Don't laugh, it really is one of the greatest of all time.
Favourite Beverage..
Shirley Temple, you'll find me at the bar at any event ordering one as my fav non-alcoholic. If we're doing mom's night out, spicy margarita.
Favourite Thing To Do When Not At Events..
Airports are open, so you'll find me looking up flights or taking an impromptu road trip with the family whenever we can get a few days between events. But I'll take any family time I can get, we love discovering new restaurants and supporting any local coffee spot.
If You're Having A Night In What Snack Are You Making?
First, my husband is the chef of this family so I'll direct this question to him LOL. He usually whips up the fanciest salumi boards or nachos for our night's in with a good glass of wine.
What Is One Of Your Favourite Places To Travel In The World & Why?..
Some of my top core memories are from my time spent in Thailand, you just cannot beat the culture and experiences when you are so far from home and your everyday comforts. I also won't ever say no to Mexico though. Specifically, if you have a chance to visit Los Cabos and immerse yourself in the food and surroundings you will not be disappointed.
Kassandra has been planning weddings and events since 2016. She began her career in the events industry as an intern from her Special Events Planning Program at George Brown College where she later graduated and worked her way up to a Lead Planner, and now a Co-Founder of Be Our Guest Events Inc.
Her passion derives from her big Italian family, where every milestone is always celebrated. She prides herself in really focusing all of her passion on and for her clients to always ensure their special day is everything they've imagined and more. Her superpower when organizing events is her efficiency and ability to take charge. She knows what needs to get done and is always the go to person to tackle any situation that stands in front of her clients. When Kassandra is not planning events, she’s at her cottage overlooking the water and relaxing with a glass of wine!

In Toronto, it would have to be Harbour 60! If I were to travel abroad, to this date... Sinatra's or SW Steakhouse at the Wynn & Encore in Las Vegas take the cake.

I have a cottage in Niagara on the waterfront that I love escaping too. It feels like I'm on a beautiful and relaxing vacation that's only 1.5 hours away from home.

Chips...Love Sweet Chilli Heat Dorito's OR a really fancy charcuterie board with a glass of red wine!
What Is One Of Your Favourite Places To Travel In The World & Why?..
I've recently traveled to Vegas and had the opportunity to experience all the city has to offer. If you want to experience luxury at it's absolute finest, I recommend staying at the Wynn & Encore... trust me, you won't ever look back.
