"After getting engaged, we started the seemingly insurmountable task that was navigating the Toronto wedding planning landscape. Enter BRG Events and the wonderful women who run it, Kayla and Kassandra. What was a stressful process became easier under their guidance. When the pandemic hit, they worked over time to ensure that our questions were answered, even though they were also trying to navigate an incredibly difficult situation. We ended up getting married in September of 2021 in a smaller ceremony, followed by a dinner with our intimate family. Kayla and Kassandra made sure the day ran smoothly - we got so many compliments from family and friends on how beautiful the day was. In July of 2022, we held our big reception, 200 guests in downtown Toronto, and once again, Kayla and Kassandra exceeded all expectations. You know how people say that their wedding day was perfect? Our was actually, quite literally perfect. In large part due to the dedication, care, and attention to detail that Kayla and Kassandra embody. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the day was, how fun the party was, and we always tell them that it couldn’t have happened if not for the hard work of our amazing wedding planners. Despite taking care of so many other couples, we always felt like their attention was 100% on us when we were with them. We would plan 100 weddings if we got to plan them with Kayla and Kassandra. "Kayla and Kassandra were the best wedding coordinators we could ask for. Before our wedding day, they created our timeline and coordinated with vendors. They were very responsive and detailed attentive. During the rehearsal, they took charge and ensured everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. In regards to our wedding day, they ensured the day ran smoothly in every aspect. Kayla and Kassandra offered their assistance with everything from fixing my dress after my bustle broke, assisting with setting up decor items and much more. Where do I even begin! Let me start off by saying THANK YOU! The ladies at Be Our Guest Events are truly amazing. My husband and I hired them as our full wedding planners for our November wedding, and when I mean FULL they did not shy away from helping us plan the entire thing. Before them we had no idea of where to begin but Kassandra took it in her hands and helped with every little detail. They made the entire planning process such a breeze and most importantly fun. Planning a wedding during Covid definitely had many ups and downs, and I mean more downs than ups.. but that didn’t stop these ladies from ensuring they kept us up to date, informed and discussed every possible option to us. When it came to day of the wedding, Kayla and Anna ran the show- they were incredible to work with and so easy, which made the day absolutely perfect. They made sure our day was exactly how we wanted it! I still don’t even know if anything truly went wrong because that’s just how great these ladies are ! All in all the wedding was exactly what we always imagined it would be and that’s all because of this amazing team! We thank you from the bottom our hearts for making our special day so incredible!! AHHH Where do we even begin? This is a long one but I hope all couples read this!!!!!
Will and I met Kayla and Kassandra at the Toronto Wedding show and we are so grateful we crossed paths that day. I knew I wanted a day of coordinator as many friends and family mentioned the best service you will pay for is that. So we originally booked them for our original day in 2020. Then the world started crumbling and we were lost. I can not tell you all how many times we hopped on a zoom call, or emailed back and forth with them trying to sort out a plan of action. Kayla and Kassandra really become our lifeline!!! We had great support from our loved ones but the professionalism and the eyes from them who are in the wedding business really helped out final vision come to life.
They spent countless hours contacting our original venue trying to come to a compromise for us to keep our vision alive and dealt with the headache we were too emotionally drained to do. They essentially did our dirty work but with such love, compassion, understanding and professionalism. When we made the decision to change dates we hired them on for the full planning package. They worked diligently to find options that fit our expectations and budget. They also made sure all of our vendors were able to accommodate our new date. They helped get refunds where needed and have the transition with everyone seem effortless. When we finally booked with our new venues both women joined meetings with décor, did site visits and organized our rehearsal. They made sure my voice and vision came through! They made planning a wedding through a pandemic less stressful for me personally. Even though I was pretty emotional for an entire year. They never made us feel like we were crazy, irrational, or that we were contacting them too much. (more so me than my husband) I will forever be grateful for these two beautiful human beings.
When my family met them, they all commented on how amazing they were within 30 mins of interacting with them. Fast forward to our special day and they delivered!!! They took care of our last payments to vendors, made sure everything needed for the ceremony and reception was in their spots when they needed to be and even helped with some boutonnieres were forgotten at the grooms house and helped fix my eyelash that was falling off from the heat! The ceremony space was beautifully set up. They have an eye for detail and I was in awe all day of how hard they worked!
Kayla and Kassandra, you two really are the DYNAMIC DUO and I know you must hear it all the time but you balance each other out and work so well together. We loved the positive energy you brought to this whole process but in particular our special day! We truly have grown to love you both and will continue to refer you to everyone we know. It is clear you do this because you both genuinely love this. A simple thank you will never be enough to show our appreciation of how you ladies helped our special day come to life!!!!!!!!!!

Where do I begin. We hired Be Our Guest Events Inc. as full planners for our Wedding day. They are fantastic, professional, prompt in all communication, flexible, readily available and absolutely incredible when it comes to making you feel like you are a guest at your own event. They go above and beyond in providing vendor recommendations, scheduling meetings to fit your schedule, and navigating/guiding you through the wedding planning process. As a bride during a crazy pandemic, it was nice and made me feel at ease to turn everything over to these amazing ladies on my wedding day so I could relax and just enjoy the once in a lifetime opportunity. Be Our Guest Events was incredibly polished and professional, and stepped up at every turn to make our wedding phenomenal. What impressed us the most wasn’t the way you handled the details - we figured you were good at that given your industry - it was the way you looked after our parents that night. We stressed that our moms were important to us, and you took that and ran with it. You looked after them like we would have, and made it a family-focused affair. There were other touches too (Tony referenced the limo snacks and I’ll mention the help with shirt coordination and the beautiful personalized memory box!) that were beyond thoughtful. You took every opportunity to delight us, and we were happy to trust you both in making sure our wedding was everything we had hoped for.

"My husband Stephen and I worked with Kassandra starting shortly after our engagement. From the very beginning she was full of energy and always had a positive attitude. My husband and I are both quieter people who never really dreamed of the perfect wedding and we assumed we would be having a small/intimate wedding. Kassandra took the time to get to know us, our tastes, our personalities and made suggestions on vendors who would fit well with us. She was able to find us vendors that made us extremely excited about planning our wedding.
